Scotia Personnel - the experience of a life time

I just want to email you guys at Scotia Personnel and thank you for helping me have an experience of a life time.  I met so many amazing people that I will be friends with for a life time.  I attach some pictures of my friends and I on vacation at various spots.  We did a lot of travelling so I attached a few photos of us travelling around.  One of Me and my Swedish and Australian friends in L.A. on the beach, me and a Swedish friend in Maui and one a football game with my Australian friend and American friend!

I also wanted to attach a few cute pictures of my host kids, they were hilarious as you can see in the pictures and we also had a great time travelling together.  There is a picture attached of them on the Jersey Shore, one of us at our favorite candy spot, and one at the zoo.

I attached one of my little sister and I in San Francisco because I think she had just as good of a time as I did!  My host family flew her out to visit me in August and also flew her out to visit me in Florida!  She is definitely doing the program when she graduates from University!!!  ...(She also thanks you guys).

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed the experience.  If any young ladies that are thinking of doing the program need someone to talk to I would be more than happy to share more about my experience.

Thanks you all so much again.

Danielle

  1. Thank-you Danielle for your comments! The Au pair in America program is a wonderful experience for young people contemplating traveling away from home for the first for an extended period of time. This program provides for airfare, medical, visa and salary. It is a tremendous opportunity to travel and experience the culture of the US.

  2. I did a kid's summer camp as a camp leader in the UK through Scotia Personnel and had a summer of a lifetime! This was my first summer away from home but I met young people from all over the world including people from Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The team from Scotia Personnel were great and just wanted to thank them again!

  4. Scotia Personnel came to Algonquin College discussing their different travel and work opportunities, and through them I got to spend 1 year working at a Hotel in London, England after I graduated. The experience was unforgettable and the staff was friendly and super helpful. My friend and I got placed in great hotels close to each other and together we were able to travel around Europe and had an amazing time! Because of Scotia Personnel I got to spend my 20th birthday in Madrid, and was able to meet and live with people from all over Europe. I had a great time, and am looking forward to doing another program through with them!

  5. Working as an English tutor in Italy was an experience I won't ever forget. I would like to thank Scotia Personnel for the opportunity. Having the opportunity to live in Italy for three months was amazing. My host family was great, they were very accommodating, generous and welcoming, and the kids I looked after and tutored became like younger siblings to me, and made me feel like part of the family. They even invited me to stay with them again next year.
When not working, I had time off on the weekends, where I would travel to amazing places around northern Italy, or hang out with my host family, where we would go on their boat around Lake Como, where we would swim, wakeboard, and occasionally watch fireworks. I also got to eat so many delicious foods as well as have ice cream or gelato almost every day, something I don't get to do in Canada.
My experience working in Italy gave me the confidence to solo travel and I was able to meet new and interesting people, as well as getting to experience a different culture, cuisine, and environment that I hadn't before. I would definitely recommend this wonderful opportunity and experience. Overall my time in Italy, and working as a tutor was great, and I would love to get the opportunity to go back again.
